Hope your weekend was as fun as mine!
Friday night, I was on a radio blog show with my fantastic publishers, JEA Press. Catt Dahman and Scott Essel Pratt were my interviewers, and I gave psychic readings as well! We had a blast and I do plan on going on again (If they’ll have me – after all, I may have scared them off with my ‘readings’!). If you get the chance, tune in to ‘Wicked Little Things’ on Friday nights! The authors and guest talkers are great and Catt and Scott do a bang up job as interviewers!
I spent Saturday at the October Sky Festival, held in Oliver Springs, TN where the movie, “October Sky” was actually filmed! Had a book signing there along with the Arts Council of Roane County and met some really great people! They had a living history group there, and I’m hoping that next year I’ll be able to walk around a bit more and see a lot more of the festival than I was able to this time.
Sunday was the day I prepared for my upcoming time with the Blood Moon Rising 2 Event! I will be on this Facebook event on Thursday, the 22nd. Check it out! There have been some fantastic authors/writers on so far and this is an all month event! Sam Gregory is our wonderful hostess and creator/planner. Many thanks, Sam, for putting this great Bloody event together!
I read a great little anthology this weekend, too. The book is titled, “Darkness Brewing,” and it has thirteen great little tales from the Coffee House Writers Group. Some of the authors showcased in hear are: Roma Gray, Mark Harrington, Alexandra Lander, and Edward Owen, to name a few. Pick up a copy and leave a review. I found all of the stories well done and of great variety.
Well, I hear my coffee calling, so I best be on the way. Give yourselves a treat this October and read an author that you haven’t had the chance to check out before, then tell us about him/her. Have a good week y’all, and especially during this month – stay scared! 😉
