I had to blog today about my fellow author, Jim Goforth at JEA Press. I’ve read his story, ‘Plebs’ and found it terrific…along the lines of ‘From Dusk ’til Dawn’ and ‘Pulp Fiction’ – you know, the Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez crazy-ass shit we all love. Now, I’m reading his latest release, ‘With Tooth and Claw’ and I gotta tell ya… he’s done it again! I’ve only gotten the first two stories read so far, but I literally have to pry my fingers loose from the book to put it down! I plan on finishing it up tonight, and can’t wait to give it a review!
I hope all you cult fiction action/horror lovers out there take the time to snag up his novels and give them a look-over.
I guarantee you won’t regret it! Great Job, Jim! Can’t wait to see what you come up with, next! 🙂
After one year of working in Bethesda, Maryland, my hubbys’ work contract ended, so myself and my wonderful cousin, Kathy, on Thursday afternoon, hauled our tushees out there (a ten hour drive via MapQuest scenic route) and helped him pack up his belongings from the rented apartment, crammed everything (and I mean everything!) into both cars, then drove the ten hour drive back home in pouring rain on Saturday. Sunday, we had the dubious pleasure of unloading both vehicles and finding space for all the extra stuff in various places in the house.
I am exhausted, thrilled to death to have him back home, and ready to get back to writing and reading my fellow authors stories!
